Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness Meditation

The state of mindfulness is reached when you come very close to the threshold of reality. Mindfulness meditation is when you are absolutely present. If you are moving your hand, moving it with full consciousness, this is mindfulness. Be mindful in every action you do. No matter what the situation is, never let go of your alertness. This alertness should be continuous. It is not optional: like breathing, it has to be continuous. This acute awareness of one’s actions is mindfulness meditation.

Being conscious to your actions is mindfulness meditation. Once you achieve this, meditation is no longer a part of life, but become life itself. Mindfulness meditation is a close awareness of all that is happening inside us. Mindfulness meditation is being mindful of your emotions, thoughts and feelings. It moves you aware of your surroundings to what is happening within you. Meditation is pure, non-judgmental observation. Mindfulness meditation encourages observation in a detached manner. Meditation is a non-judgmental, moment-to-moment awareness of each of life’s experiences. There is no past and no future in mindfulness meditation. What you always experience is the “present”. You are freed of the baggage of preconceived notions and experiences.

Meditation reduces stress, which can occur when the wandering mind speculates on imaginary thoughts, as it is prone to do. Meditation enhances your ability to perceive the world more accurately and encourages positivity. Mindfulness meditation imparts a heightened sense of awareness of your body. When you become aware of your actions and thoughts, negativity does not does not penetrate your mind.

Mindfulness meditation is not a destination to be reached, and there are no specific techniques to achieve it. When you do achieve it, you experience utter awareness. It is not possible to get there overnight but by striving continuously towards it, you begin to see potential changes in context that signal you are on your way. Mindfulness meditation is the best weapon to combat the negativity hard-wired into our minds. Meditation transforms the negativity into neutrality, and slowly into positivity. Mindfulness meditation is a more contemplative way of life, which turns your focus inward.
